About

I was born in 2000 and raised on the Northside of Houston for the majority of my childhood. One of my greatest inspirations is my mother who raised me, encouraged me, and always believed in me. Since I was a child, drawing has been a passion of mine. But in this stage of my life I like to consider myself to be a multidisciplinary artist. I feel like anything can be considered art, and anything can be used to create art. A few artists who have inspired me and challenged the way I think about my practice are Virgil Abloh, David Adjaye, Rick Lowe, and Frank Ocean. They have shown me that I can embrace any situation as an opportunity to apply creativity. And that in any arena, I can embrace who I am and what I bring to the table. Though I am an illustrator at heart and always interested in developing my technical skills. My main concerns are collaboration, learning from our past, pushing the boundaries of what can be considered art, and most importantly using creativity to solve real world problems. Whether it be problems in our home, our community, our government, or issues that affect people across the world
