Heidi Powell-Prera
About
Originally from Guatemala Heidi Powell-Prera has enjoyed the best of both the cultures she represents and the cultures of the people she has met and worked with since coming to Houston in her teens. From a family of artists, scientists, writers, and teachers, Heidi, is multi-talented and multi-cultural. She loves to spend her time promoting good causes and great artists. She began by studying fine art photography techniques with Amy Blakemore at the Museum of Fine Art's Glasselle School. Her love of energy and music soon brought her and her camera to Houston's Music and Spoken Word scene. Heidi has been a part of the Spoken Word House and Our House at Project Row Houses. The family business is promoting Longevity and Fitness and she feels art and music fit right in to what she advises people to do when acting as their health and longevity coach. She is currently the Editor in Chief at IFMagazine.net. She is a global photojournalist always seeking the art in life while also building her brand Global Vision while exhibiting her own art and fine art photography.
